Neighborhood Spotlight: Viniterra

Vinterra is a neighborhood situated away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and in a serene, pleasant suburban setting in the heart of New Kent. It is known for the luxurious, relaxing lifestyle it has to offer, along with the rolling green hills of its expansive golf course.

This neighborhood offers luxury homes more commonly known as “The Estates”, as well as a senior community known as “The Cottages at Viniterra”. Each of these communities are located in separate sections of Viniterra. The villas sit towards the entrance of the neighborhood, whilst the luxury homes sit within a gated community that can be reached by taking a scenic drive alongside the vineyards of New Kent Winery.

The luxury homes sit on vast expanses of land, offering the opportunity to build custom homes well over 3,000 sqft. on 1 to 2 acre plots. This part of the neighborhood is still being built out.

The villas section offers level living homes, in a very walkable neighborhood community with sidewalks readily available. Properties are modern and range from just about 1,500 to 3400 sqft.

Between the villas and luxury homes, Viniterra boasts of a beautiful and vast golf course that expands across its land. The golf course is open to club members only. Plans are currently underway to expand Viniterra’s amenities. This project envisions the completion of a clubhouse, pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center and conserved open space for the neighborhood community to enjoy. 

In addition, New Kent Winery sits adjacent to Viniterra, offering an enhanced scenic setting and additional neighborhood amenity which hosts a range of events from salsa lessons to live music nights.
