There is nothing quite like the spirit of New Kent County during the holidays. Just a few days ago, families from all over the area gathered at New Kent High School for our annual Independence Day Celebration, and the energy was incredible. From the fantastic lineup of local food trucks to the lawn games and the spectacular fireworks finale, it was a perfect reminder of why so many people love calling this community home.
This year, Vision Avenue Realty from Better Homes and Gardens Basecamp had the distinct pleasure of hosting a free family photo stand at the celebration. It was absolutely fabulous meeting so many neighbors, catching up with old friends, and capturing smiles that will last a lifetime.
We owe a massive thank you to New Kent County Administration, New Kent Parks and Recreation and New Kent Public Schools for their fantastic work organizing such a seamless, high-energy event for our community.
